Lord of the Rings was Universal and done by Peter Jackson... I doubt it comes out on Bluray. I expect some sort of big thing like they did with king kong and the Hd-dvd drive...

more posts that aren't really game related, but I'll comment on it anyhow... blu ray should not think that they can oust DVD, even in 3 years, Dvd will be around for at least another 10 years because people with large collections are not too eager to replace them all with 40 dollar discs. I know that the price will drop but to say that there will only be blu-ray is a bit pompous
I just got in... played for like 10 minutes this morning. I was very surprised at how tight the controls are, they work really well.. I'm excited to play more tonight and see what kind of depth this game realy has. The graphics are "ok" nothing spectacular but so far the gameplay is good

mainly because the development of the ps3 version has yet to happen yet. they should make claims like that until they are at least halfway through development cycles. Its like when they claimed that resistance was going to be 1080p and then wasn't. Unless they meet all these claims (including having rumble, which isn't comfirmed yet) it will be disapointing.
also... i can't see the differences they are pointing out from those screens... heat effects you need to see in motion to compare and other than that the differences seem to come from parts of the mech being in slightly different positions. also, like ford said, until the full version is out, you can't compare to a demo. just wondering... does this need a special laser or just a different firmware installation?? because if its just firmware then the 360 could use these quad dvds and make disc space a non-issue!

i played the first game, it was a lot of fun as a hack and slasher and was very very long. I hope they make some of the spells better but the 3d graphics are a major upgrade from the sprite based game that it was... basically this game is a open world diablo
man, everytime i turn to gamepro they are doing nothing but hating on the 360... to say that the 360 has the fewest big games coming out is just idiotic, as of right now the 360 has the most titles coming out, not to mention the most exclusives... god, gamepro is just a bunch of fools
man, this could be really cool if he is able to completely get rid of the HUD in the game.... i'm still not sure how inventory will work, but i'm sure there will be a GUI just no HUD
this game will make me build another pc and probably stop playing 360.... if it is supported through games for windows and has achievements that would be even better!
